Did you see the expression on Obama’s face when the reporter actually had the nerve to question him about calling Romney a “bullshitter”? Obama was incredulous that he got asked that question. He is so used to fawning media that this guy really deserves a medal.

Wow. Not exactly Entertainment Tonight type questions, huh!

Yea, exactly. Now, Obama hasn’t given access to this level ever. And now, he’s desperate, giving access everywhere.

This “fighting for you” language is always the fallback for a losing Democratic campaign. ALWAYS.

I hate to play the ignorant card here, but this only being my third Presidential election I could vote in, I’ve never heard that democrats try this tactic when they are losing. Could you give me an example of a previous election where democrats were losing and tried this sudden shift? And did it work? I’m genuinely curious, although my guess is no, it did not work then and won’t now.

The Democrats are best characterized by what Leo Tolstoy had to say In 1886 in “What Then Must We Do?”…Leo Tolstoy wrote, “I sit on a man’s back, choking him, and making him carry me, and yet assure myself and others that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his lot by all possible means-except by getting off his back.”

That is exactly the philosophy of the Democrats…. I will bleed society dry and make all suffer, but I will not ever give up being a parasite.

If Obama thought he were in the lead, he wouldn’t be hitting every local TV and radio station and newspaper he can, he wouldn’t be going on TV repeatedly and running the risk of getting tripped up by a rogue questioner (as he was today in Denver), he would be focused on rallies/speeches, advertising strategy, and get out the vote activities. And he wouldn’t be so relentlessly negative, or so shamelessly pimping for the women’s vote (on his misguided assumption that all women care about is their “female parts” and getting the government to provide them with free abortions and birth control pills) as to actually run an ad equating voting for him to losing one’s virginity.

JGS, I don’t think I’ve ever been truly offended by a commercial before. I am very right-wing and roll my eyes at any kind of political correctness. But this pandering the democrats are doing to women is really, truly offending me. Not only are they basically telling us that we’re helpless and need to be taken care of with free birth control and free murder -I mean abortion, but they also are telling us that we’re all complete sluts who sleep around sooo much that we absolutely need free contraception! Did I miss something? The last time I checked, I am neither helpless nor a slut. This new ad has me genuinely angry.

Oh and sorry to keep ranting, but I’ve been self employed and living on my own since I was 19 years old (I am 26). For dems to suggest that I can’t buy $9 a month birth control is downright insulting.

Since when do the mistakes in combat NOT reflect upon the COMMANDER IN CHIEF?

I listened to this several times. I do NOT know if it is real. But, if it is a real statement, it is a BIGGER GAFFE than ANYTHING Romney has said.

    I think.

I suggest you go over to battleground watch and read up on their opinion of the election.

And if you find this is true or not true, please update me.

That bullshitter question definitely blew him off guard. He really didn’t see it coming. It was by far a bad choice of words for a President to be using. Overall, this was a good interview (from the small clips shown anyways), this is how I expect all interviews to be done of politicians, Dem or Rep. Straight, to the point and no…well, BS.

As a Colorado resident, I am very surprised by this because all the local stations here are liberal. I honestly didn’t know about this interview but I am going to watch it now. What makes me happy is that this proves even the liberal media is finally – FINALLY – starting to break the Libya story after protecting Obama on it and not covering it for weeks.

Just watched the full video (Thank you Tim for posting the link). Here are my thoughts:
1.) Regarding Libya, he did not answer the question, period. You can tell from the lack of “uhhhh”s from him that he was reading a memorized script about the subject.

2.) What an arrogant SOB, smirking and scoffing at the reporter for asking about Abound Solar, yet another “clean energy” business that has made us lose millions. And then again, he launches into a memorized script that he repeats in every rally stop, that has absolutely nothing to do with the question.

3.) I love how he responds to the bullsh*tter question, he says it was said casually after the interview…so, what, is he trying to say it was off the record, it was the magazine’s fault for not protecting him, what is he trying to say? And then once again, he launches into a memorized script that has NOTHING to do with the question.

Thanks Tim, I also just watched the full video. I give that reporter a lot of credit & Obama looks like he wasn’t quite prepared for those kinds of questions.
I imagine some of his staffers got chewed out afterwards by Obama for scheduling that interview!

So to summarize according to our president, the Libya incident with 4 dead Americans, was: “Not optimal”, “A bump in the road” & now “The election
is not about 4 dead Americans”. I’m no fan of the MSM, but it’s really incredible that this incident is getting nearly no traction in any news outlets
outside of Fox News & talk radio.

Typically, these local media interviews are softball affairs. I guess this message didn’t get passed on to the reporter. Reminds me of the scene in Rocky, where Apollo Creed’s manager says of Rocky “He thinks it is a damned fight, he doesn’t know it is supposed to be a show!”

      Today’s Axlerod quote:

      http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/26/david-axelrod-2012-campaign_n_2025169.html?utm_hp_ref=politics

“I think the race has settled in, and it has settled in with us with a small but durable and discernable lead in these battleground states both in the aggregate and individually. ”

Here’s the start of it. The dem side saying we’ve got just enough of a lead to win…just enough, in just the right areas, in the right states to win… tranlsation: we are close enough to bring in enough dead voters to push the election our way….if the establishment were going to do something like this (what I’ve indicated it would make sense for the establishment to try given how much they’ve invested in this election, the press, the ceos, etc. and the $$$ at stake) this is how I would imagine it would start.

I hope the GOP has some dead voters of their own they can throw at these ###$%$.

Well Ohio got half a million ineligible voters off their voter rolls, and here in Colorado they’ve caught over 400. Thankfully this election Republicans are not standing for voter fraud and with Romney enthusiasm sweeping the country, I think voter fraud would only work if the margins were extremely close. The media polls will tell you it’s a tie up until the day of election because they want you to keep watching, but if you look around this site at the real data, this election will be a landslide for Romney so the Obama campaign would have to pull out millions upon millions of dead voters to counteract it and I don’t see even them daring to try that.

        Posted October 26, 2012 at 11:57 pm | Permalink

That’s intersting. I wonder how they do that? How does each party verify that the votes cast are in fact legitimate voters? I guess the fraud starts with registration…registration of dead voters or whatever..people that dont exist and then there’s an address of that “voter” (though each one would have to be unique) and then a ballot goes out and someone fills them out and returns them. Does it start at the voter roll level…who is registered to vote? I guess it sort of would.

You know this race right now, ignoring all the hope and analysis on this list about a big Romney night, but just taking the public polls for face value (skewed dem smaples and all), this is like 2004 in reverse. And it all comes down to Ohio again… funny huh?

If you watch the full interview on the KUSA website, the news anchor asked Obama about Abound Solar, and how it received money from the Stimulus bill. Also, how Abound Solar is similar to Solyndra that went bankrupt, and how Stimulus money went to an Obama donor that owned a Solar Company. The anchor asked Obama how he would respond to that.

Obama said (get ready) it had nothing to do with politics, and then he went off on a rambling babble session about investing money into roads, bridges, and schools, something completely off topic.

And he has nerve to call Romney a bullsh*tter.

A large percentage of companies in Gore’s green porfolio recieved stimulus money. You don’t think….naw….you don’t think Gore advised Obama on what companies would be good picks?
