Donated $500.00 this morning to ole Mitt. I ain’t giving up on shit. Everybody I know can’t wait to vote. I don’t know if the polls are right or wrong I really don’t care. I do know I am scared that my 17 year old daughter will spend her whole life a slave to taxes so any little bit I can do I am happy to do.

Polls are taking their toll on me along with intrade and all the betting agencies giving Obama 70-80% chance. Seems like we are just hanging on the hope that the polls are wrong. Also, do not get a sense Romney is connecting with voters as many do not see him do much better on economy than Obama.

      Tim,

Don’t get down in the dumps, remember, any good news about Romney, the Alinsky Media will cover up.

Don’t let the obedient dogs in the media that serve their master Obama, get to you.

I think voters are looking for cover to vote against Obama and for Romney. Right now Obama has a record. It is dirty and nasty and sluggish across the board. But to people in Ohio and the auto industry, the unions, etc…Obama, the devil they know, is better than the devil they don’t know Romney.

If Romney comes out in the debates and jabs and punches hard and floats in very SPECIFIC PLANS on how he will improve the economy, why, how and where we will go….then go out and campaign each week in between the debates providing even more info, etc….you will see Obama start to fall. they will have their reason and cover to vote against Obama.

Romney has been painted as this hard core right wing radical who hates working people and wants to throw rich people cash baths in the white house. If he can come out in this final swing (We are appealing to the 6% in the middle) and show he is far from a right winger, that he has given more money to charities and helped more people than all of Obama’s community organizing days, he has saved and created more jobs than Obama could ever claim. Yes HE SAVED AND CREATED jobs as a business owner…Obama takes credit for others. He will win

This, right now, for 6% of the country (96% of us know how we will vote) this is a race of The Devil they Know vs. The Devil they Don’t Know. Time for Mr. Don’t Know to introduce himself.

The pro-Obama crowd will claim that Romney is campaigning in PA, because he is desperate to find a new state he can win in, since he is too far behind in OH and VA. That’s rubbish. The pro-Romney crowd will claim PA is close, even within the MoE, and Romney is making an honest play for PA. That’s rubbish too. The truth is that Romney will get some nice local media attention that may bleed into the swing states near PA. Romney isn’t making a serious play for PA, and Romney does not need to desperately search for states to replace OH and VA.

If you are a true conservative you play with the cards you are dealt and fight. You don’t get down. I cannot remember a time in any election when the mainstream media said a republican presidential candidate was up in the polls and couldn’t be beat. As far as intrade and the other betting sites they are mostly swamped with liberals. If you read the comments on those sites it is more political than the Huffington post. I remember when everyone was betting the patriots were going to beat the giants.
I just don’t think everybody has decided that everything is alright after republicans routed the dems in 2010. I think everyone is still fired up. That’s why I don’t believe the polls.

You’ll know if Pa is in play by Obama’s actions and spending. If he shows up or continues to spend heavily it’s in play. If not then Romney is either trying to put it in play, or feels comfortable enough in Va and Ohio to spend money to try to force Obama to keep it. Either way clearly Romney views it as not “safe” for Obama, otherwise he’d be elsewhere.

I believe PA is in play otherwise why waste time here? An actual visit by the candidate takes up time and is costly. Why waste valuable Romney time here if other states are supposedly fading away?? Why not just blanket airwaves with commercials to hit other surrounding states and/or send surrogates? How is it Romney is playing offense and Obama is playing defense (in WI and OH) when he’s supposed to have it all locked up according to the polls?

Don’t know for sure if Pa. is in play for Romney/Ryan.. BUT I do know that he has added 6 new Victory Campaign Headquaters this week, bring his total number to 24 for the state, also added 4 new Victory centers in Michigan.. It is either he feels they have a chance or want to make Obama spend money to defend these states.

If you look at the latest PA polls and weight them to something resembling normality, the state is quite close. Yesterday’s poll used a D+13 to get Obama up 9, the other one with a D+10 to get Obama up 8…..plus the poll showing Obama only up 2.
