A Better Future: Colorado – Overregulation

The Hill has the rundown on the new wave of ads coming to a Battleground near you:

Mitt Romney’s campaign on Friday released 15 new television ads that are set to air in eight battleground states.

The ads zero in on defense, manufacturing, energy regulations, home values and the deficit. The ads are already on the air in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Iowa, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada and Virginia.

The ad series is titled “A better future,” and each spot opens with a quote from Romney’s nomination acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention last week.

The ads promise to repeal or reverse Obama policies, such as defense cuts or “red tape for small businesses,” but do not offer details on how Romney plans to create new jobs in each state. However, the ads promise a specific number of new jobs that varies by state, ranging from 100,000 in Nevada and 200,000 in Colorado to 340,000 in Virginia and 350,000 in North Carolina.

Since he officially accepted the GOP nomination last week, Romney now has access to the party’s war chest of general election funds previously unavailable to his campaign. Romney waited until the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention to hit the ground running, with two months to go until Election Day.

Republican Anti-regulation policies is what caused the bank crisis. Sure, let’s have more of that.
