Estimated 3000 Rally for Ryan in West Chester, Pennsylvania

In the area of Pennsylvania that will most likely decide who wins the Keystone State’s 20 electoral votes, Tom Fitzgerald of The Philadelphie Enquirer tweeted the following:

Ryan beat reporters (Felicia Sonmez, Joy Lin and Robert Costa) tweeted the below photos. If you look closely at the third, the size of the people in the distance gives you a sense on the dimension of this rally:

    I attended the rally and a more accurate count is I think, 5000, which appeared in other sources.
    It was a hot afternoon in the sun. I am confident that Chester will be a “red county” tomorrow at least– given all the sunburns.

    Given my general impressions and the mammoth 2 hour traffic jam after, this was a very large and enthusiastic turnout.
    Aerial photos would be needed to assess the crowd’s size accurately, but it was large.
    Incidentally, the grounds were left in nice clean shape by my observation.

    Thank you both for the “on-the-scene” reports. It is hard getting the facts straight through the media filter but I’ll keep doing my best. And Dave, I noticed you’re final comment. Just like when the Tea Party left the Mall in DC looking better than before they got there which was in stark contrast to any Democrat rally or even Obama’s inauguration.
